Adam Lambert and Carrie Underwood – The Most Downloaded American Idol Artists. News has emerged that both Adam Lambert and Carrie Underwood are the most downloaded artists of all time from the hit U.S. TV show, American Idol. Last week, Carrie Underwood continued to be the leader of all American Idol winners when the amount of downloads for her single “Undo It” reached a huge 50,000 downloads. However, word has now emerged from Nielson SoundScan that Adam Lambert saw a huge increase in the amount of downloads for his latest single this week.

Adam Lambert’s single is said to have had a sales increase of 59% from last week to this week which has brought the cumulative total of downloads for the single around 55,000. This makes him the most downloaded artist of all time from the American Idol talent show winners.

Adam Lambert has had an array of hit songs including Whataya Want from Me, which actually sold over 1.3 million downloads. Carrie Underwood has also had a variety of hits including Cowboy Casanova which reached just over 1.4 million downloads. These records make these two the most downloaded artists from American Idol, selling millions of download’s between them.
