Adam Lambert and Daughtry have both managed to hang in for yet another week on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Both “American Idol” alumnae have managed to hold on to spots on this coveted chart for several weeks, but only Adam saw an increase in sales this week. USA Today reported on Wednesday that Adam’s “For Your Entertainment” album saw an increase of 1%, adding another 5,000 sales. Daughtry’s self-titled “Daughtry” album decreased in sales by 2% but still managed to add another 3,000 for a total of 4.7 million overall. In addition, Daughtry’s “Leave This Town” landed in the top 200 selling an another 5,000.
With the huge success of Adam’s Glam Nation tour, it is no surprise to see Adam holding strong in the top half of the chart for yet another week. Adam will perform in Portland, Oregon at the Crystal Ballroom on Wednesday night.
