After the Clay Aiken debacle, another American Idol finalist has jumped into the Glambert bandwagon. At least this time, Jordin Sparks has nothing but good words for Adam Lambert unlike Clay -_- The former American Idol champ from 2007 praised this season’s runner-up saying his voice “out of this world”. Jordin Sparks said, “Not since Freddie Mercury or Steven Tyler has there been a voice like Adam Lambert’s. It would be really cool to do something with him and maybe release my inner rockstar.”

Jordin also revealed that she views original Idol Kelly Clarkson as a role model in conducting her pop career. She said, “I’d love to do something with Kelly Clarkson because she’s been a monumental influence on me. I love how she handles her celebrity. She’s not in the tabloids a lot but everyone knows and respects her because she’s got an amazing voice. That’s something I aim towards.” Jordin Sparks + Kelly Clarkson + Adam Lambert = one helluva rock session!! ;-)

The affable singer says he is more than happy to take the silver this year, and that he has absolutely “no regrets.” Adam Lambert said he enjoyed the entire experience and wouldn’t change a thing. He shared: “I know it sounds cliché, but I really feel like I won by getting to the finals. To me, its not about the title of ‘American Idol,’ it was the experience. I made music, and I got to do a different performance every week, and I was able to use [the show] as a platform to get myself out there, and now I have a career.” Adam Lambert continues,

“There’s no need to dwell on the negative. We should look forward, and be excited about an album and the rest of my career. I couldn’t be happier for Kris [Allen]. I think he’s immensely talented. I don’t think the title of first or second place really matters at this point.”

As for what could have him lose, Adam Lambert says he is suspicious of the “Gokey factor” – the migration of church leader Danny Gokey’s votes to the more conservative Kris Allen – than any kind of grassroots effort or “power texting” stuff. As to whether his sexual orientation impacted the final vote, Adam Lambert laughed and answered, “Probably.” He said that he knew losing was a possibility and “that Kris had just as much of a chance as I did … and the people that had been voting for more of the conservative choices up until then were probably going to default more to Kris than to me.”
