MUSICAL STARDOM!! What else could there be?? ;-) GLAMBERTS do not fear! Adam Lambert not winning American Idol 8 doesn’t spell doom for his career — in fact, it might even be better coz this way he is not tied down to what AI producers want. Often, the producers go for “normal” and mass appealing songs and we know Adam Lambert doesn’t do “normal” at all! LOL! He is a phenomenal performer and he deserves a stage that won’t constrain him. Being the American Idol will definitely put his creative side on a leash.

Anyway, after the finale, Adam Lambert told MTV News his future plans. He shared, “My dream now is to make a really dope record, to do something new, push the boundaries a little bit, push people’s buttons, open people’s minds up a little bit. I know that we’re gonna start working on some music right away, and that’s what I can’t wait to do — to collaborate, to write, to co-write and create visuals that go along with the music.” Or Adam Lambert can be the new frontman for Queen! Or may be he can perform on Broadway.. That would be awesome!

With less than 24 hours to the “American Idol” finale, the flamboyant finalist met the press for a lil chitchat with Kris Allen, his fellow finalist. Neither admitted that they were nervous about the finale with Adam Lambert saying on a scale of 1 to 10, he’s about “at a 5.” Many have predicted that he will win the this season’s title especially with his huge exposure from the show. But Adam Lambert emphasized and hoped that “people would vote based on what they hear. It’s an equal opportunity situation.”

When asked if his theater experience has given him a leg up during the show, Adam Lambert said he didn’t see it that way. He said, “This isn’t theater so I don’t see how it matters at all. We [Kris Allen in bars, clubs] both have experience.” As for their final song choices tomorrow, both Adam and Kris were coy. The eyeliner-wearing singer teased, “They’re good songs. We think you’ll like them.” I think we will! =) God bless Adam and Kris!
