Rocker Adam Lambert has addressed his holiday bust-up with boyfriend Sauli Koskinen for the first time on TV, insisting their behavior was “childish.”

The singer and his partner were arrested in Helsinki on December 22 following a fight at a club.

The couple was questioned by police and released hours later.

Lambert has since laughed off the incident via a series of Twitter.com posts, and on Thursday, he opened up further about the incident during an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime program.

With his Finnish boyfriend in the audience, Lambert said, “Relationships are work and I’m so lucky to fall in love with a great partner. Everybody has their ups and down, things happen (and) when you add alcohol to a situation, things can get out of control.

Adam Lambert is in full promotion mode now that he has a new single out and an album releasing in March. Today he was in San Francisco, and stopped by the 99.7 NOW studio to chat with DJs Fernando and Greg. Interestingly, when they played his new single “Better Than I Know Myself,” Adam commented that it was the first time he has heard it on the radio. That’s probably because he’s been very busy, such as appearing on The Tonight Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, as well as finishing up work on the album. It sounds as though there is still a bit more work to be done, because Adam said the album is about 85% complete.

Adam Lambert took to Twitter today to comment about the title Madonna recently announced for her upcoming album. He really liked the title and shared his opinion with his more than 1.3 million followers. Adam tweeted, “Madonna’s new album is called ‘M.D.N.A.’ hahah Genius!!!!” What exactly does he think is genius about the title? In addition to being an abbreviation of her name, many think the title has a double meaning, related to the drug Ecstasy. Ecstasy is known scientifically as methylenedioxymethamphetamine, or “MDMA.” Obviously, Madonna’s album title varies a little, using an “N” instead of an “M,” but it still seems like a play on the drug name.
