All of you Adam Lambert maniacs should hold on to your seats! Adam Lambert is saving all the best tracks and release it as an album next year. It was Adam who said this that he’ll be releasing his 2nd album next year and will be returning to the studio this fall to record this 2nd opus!
He came. He saw. He covered the stage in glitter. On Sunday night (June 27), Adam Lambert played to a sold-out crowd at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live as part of his first headlining trek around North America dubbed the Glam Nation tour. The sometimes controversial, all the time intriguing glamster took fans on a laser and leather-filled ride through his debut album, For Your Entertainment. Lambert used the album’s title-track to mercilessly tease the crowd of mostly women of various ages and glitter coverage into swooning, screaming fangirls.
Adam Lambert’s Glam Nation tour ends in September, but his fans may not have to wait too much longer after that for new material. Lambert says he’ll be heading into the studio in the fall to work on material for a new album. “We just had a big meeting with my record label,” he tells WKCI-FM in Connecticut. “… There might be some more music that comes out of this [album, 'For Your Entertainment'], but definitely in 2011, the plan is to do a new album.”
