Today is “National Coming Out Day” and Adam Lambert has shown celebrity support by tweeting about gay rights this morning. He tweeted a message originally posted by the organization Friend Factor, saying “Wait…What?! My gay friends & I can be fired in 29 states #Just4BeingGay? Learn more: http://www.Friendfactor.org/WW #ncod plz RT.” By asking his more than 1.2 million followers to re-tweet it, Adam obviously has a huge reach with this message. In addition, he followed that tweet with, “This is one of the many reasons kids are being bullied: parents r setting examples of discrimination and inequality. American Idol Season 8 finalist, Adam Lambert, will be appearing on a talent show called “Majors and Minors” and this will be airing on the 28th of October 2011 on the HUB Network.
