Adam Lambert, the remaining not-yet-grouped finalist, was asked where he should belong. He went to join Danny and Allison’s group. Ryan then declared he belonged to Matt and Kris’ group, and dropped the bomb that they were the bottom three! My mouth hung open, the judges and the American Idol audience were in shock, and I’m sure the TV viewers were too! By the end of the show, Adam Lambert was left sharing the stage with Matt Giraud.
