Adam Lambert was recently in his hometown of San Diego as a part of his Glam Nation tour, and he had quite a bit to say about the show that made him famous. First, Adam touched on how the transition has been from performing on a reality show to being a recording artist:
“The whole process has been really interesting. Obviously ‘American Idol’ was a great experience, I had a great time, it put me on the map — but it doesn’t always ensure your success. There’s a little bit of apprehension whenever you go through something like that … I’m really thrilled that things are working out.”

The former American Idol finalist Adam Lambert is still seeing incredible success with his debut album. The latest single, “If I Had You,” is currently holding strong at the #69 position on the Billboard Top 100 chart. Lambert’s successful tour Glam Nation is no doubt continuing to inspire his longtime fans (and new fans) to go out and purchase For Your Entertainment, as well as the singles, “Whataya Want From Me,” and “If I Had You.” The fans are constantly out in record numbers supporting whatever the singer does.
Former American Idol finalist, and singer extraordinaire, Adam Lambert is enjoying extreme success — and he deserves it all. With his highly successful Glam Nation tour, and his debut album, For Your Entertainment going platinum, selling over 1 million copies worldwide, it is no wonder why Lambert recently told Ryan Seacrest that he was happy and that things were great. According to a new report, Lambert’s current single, “If I Had You,” is doing well and is up by ten percent in sales.
